The set up of this ballhead and the 055XPROB tripod held up to 2 weeks of backcountry canyoneering through Utah's slot canyons, deserts etc rather well. It is able to hold a Pentax K10D w/ telephoto lens w/o problems. Recommend the combo tripod and Ballhead to anyone. .
