This remote is great so far.I have not really had it long enough to know if the battery life is shorter due to the lighted keys as other reviews have said.The only problem was the are programming. I had to call tivo for help, it took a few tries to get it to work, FYI when you are using the "learning" option you can not be in the same room as the tv.I do not know why, but that is the only way to program the new remote control away from the old. .
