I got it in the cyber Monday deal, and for 60 bucks is very good, I won't pay more than 70 for the camera is better getting the 1080 one. The video quality is very good with proper light conditions, the pictures are very good as well, if using the flash don't be to close to the object or person you are trying to get, the flash is really strong and there is no way to configure it. If you do not like Apple products and ... the video format is .mov so you will have to deal with quick time even if you don't like.I like Apple products, if not there are ways arround it. Very happy with the camera considering the price I paid.

I really like the size of this camcorder, plus the fact that it goes directly to the DVD. The one thing I dislike is that the lens cover does not automatically open and shut.I had mine a year now and the lens cover will not close at all. Marlene offered an effective solution to the clicking problem with this camera, but I couldn't figure out how to find the "AF" part of the menu. I just wanted to point out that you need to be in video mode for that part of the menu to show up.(change from "continuous AF" to "single AF"). Hope this helps! I just bought it, but am VERY happy with this camera so far now that the clicking problem is fixed! Thanks to Marlene for figuring this out!.

The first (and second) time I needed to replace the cartridges in my Canon MP160 I simply refilled them.The first refill seemed like it went too early, and the second time I KNEW there was most of the ink left.Canon does not reveal itself as you buy cartridges that are not theirs, they accuse them falsely of running out of ink and generally gives you problems if you do not use Canon ink. Really crappy thing of them to do, I think, but I won't mark off these cartridges for it, only the printer (can Canon themselves, if I could.) Won't be buying another Canon printer..

Even though this case is designed for the A510/A520 it works on the Canon A530.I just got back from the pool and can't wait to use it in mexico next week.It does have some limitations (w/A530) with button access because of location variatons on the models, but it does work.The on / off, shutter, flash, zoom, macro / manual focus, and image modes are all available in the switch that lets play, delete, display and menu not available. It is the best point and shoot I have ever had, and one of the best looking and well built.I never had a problem with it and I have thousands and thousands of photos shot with him in all different settings. I own a Nikon DSLR, and a couple Sony point and shoots, but I use the Leica most of the time.Very glad that I bought it, and if your thinking about one of them, or 4, I would not hesitate for a second..

As it goes with cameras, it's usualy more about the photographer than the camera.This camera is fantastic for it's price range, and it can perform with much more expensive cameras in many instances with a small amount of know-how.When it comes to DSLR cameras can not go wrong with a canon. It's a pity though that this model has no hard drive, so it's not possible to take video clips...which would've been nice.

This bag is all that its made out to be - I'm very happy with this purchase.Its very comfortable to lug around, and the construction and material quality is very good. I use 4 slot dividers that came with it - do not leave enough room for a body. As I'm considering another body, I'll probably have to prioritise on the stuff I'm carrying around now, and maybe look for a 2-compartment divider or look to stuff some lenses in the side pocket.For now, his has enough space for my needs..

This is my first "real" lens and have just started taking my own pictures of my children vs.taking them to a professional photographer.In experimenting with the kit lens vs. that have this lens, I found that the larger canopy makes me start to see more pictures in low light than the kit lens makes () without a flash. There really is a difference in quality between this lens and the kit lens..
